1. Control Bar & Routing

Load audio via file selection or full-page drag & drop. Toggle playback with Spacebar. Select Left Only or Right Only to isolate channels, or turn Mono: ON to audition mono-compatibility.

2. Stereo Waveform Overview

Visualizes track amplitude over time. Bar colors reveal phase health: Green = In-Phase, Yellow = Wide Stereo, and Red = Out-of-Phase / Anti-Phase (risk of mono cancellation).

3. Goniometer / Phase Scope

Shows 2D stereo soundfield distribution and phase correlation meter. Switch between Scope: Raw Track View (unfiltered stereo audio file) and Scope: Post Mono ON Routing View (monitored signal that collapses visually into a straight vertical line in mono mode).

Sub-Bass 20 Hz - 60 Hz Sub-bass feel, physical rumble, sub-kick energy. Highly prone to phase cancellation in mono. High-pass side channel at 100 Hz to keep sub-bass 100% mono centered.
Bass & Low-End 60 Hz - 250 Hz Root note fundamentals of bass instruments, kick drum body, warmth and punch. Duck bass around kick transient fundamental frequency to avoid muddy accumulation.
Low-Mids 250 Hz - 500 Hz Body of vocals, snare weight, acoustic guitar power. Excessive energy causes boxiness. Dip narrow notch around 300-400 Hz if mix sounds muddy or enclosed.
Mid-Range 500 Hz - 2 kHz Vocal presence, lead synths, horn body, horn fundamentals. Human ear is extremely sensitive here. Maintain balanced energy distribution to preserve instrument intelligibility in mono.
Upper-Mids 2 kHz - 4 kHz Attack transients, vocal edge, pick noise, snare snap. Harshness builds quickly around 3 kHz. Dynamic EQ cut at 3 kHz if vocals sound overly biting or fatiguing.
Presence & Brilliance 4 kHz - 20 kHz Cymbal sizzle, air, shimmer, reverb tails, upper harmonic air frequencies. Use smooth high-shelf boost on vocals above 10 kHz for silkiness.
